About Us
Welcome!
The Fort Wayne Inventors Club is just what it sounds like – a group of people interested in invention. Our objectives as a group are:
- To learn from one another
- To share intellectually stimulating knowledge
- To help new inventors avoid pitfalls
- And, of course, to have fun together!
We meet once a month, at noon on the 2nd Saturday of the month, usually at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center, 3201 Stellhorn Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. NIIC is at the corner of Stellhorn Road and St. Joe Road, adjacent to the IPFW campus and next to Ivy Tech’s north campus.
There are no dues or fees. All we ask is that you bring a curious mind, a desire to learn, and a willingness to help your fellow inventors.
- We discuss our experiences - the successes, the failures, the aha’s, and the oh-no’s.
- We bring in speakers to share what inventors need to know.
- We give inventors time to showcase their work and receive feedback from their peer inventors.
- We eat Pizza Hut pizza.
- We discuss any topic you need help with that day,
- We point inventors to resources they need to be more effective.
- We meet people we can collaborate with.
